Friday 8th – Monday 11th September 2017
Join us in the Historic Highlands for 3 days of yoga, hiking and relaxation.
Enjoy delicious home cooked vegetarian food, evenings around the log fire and much needed time away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives.
You will arrive on Friday afternoon and enjoy a short nearby stroll before dinner followed by restorative yoga & meditation to set you up for a restful nights sleep. Saturday & Sunday will start with a specially designed yoga class to prepare your body for the hike ahead before a wholesome vegetarian breakfast followed by a few hours in the hills. Evenings will be spent winding down after a delicious meal and some restorative yoga to help your body recover and restore after your day of hiking. We will depart on Monday morning after a light breakfast.
Venue & Local Area
A beautifully appointed house on the south shore of Loch Ness, providing luxury accommodation for up to 12 adults.
The house is built into the side of the mountain, surrounded by pasture in which sheep are normally grazing – in spring you can watch out for new-born lambs. It feels wonderfully rural, and yet the village of Foyers is within easy reach, with a village shop, post office & cafe, a pub and the famous ‘Falls of Foyers.’
There are several way-marked local woodland walks around the house, and wildlife including deer, red squirrels, pine martens and birds of prey. You can reach the shores of Loch Ness by walking down through the forest across the road.
The snooker hall is the hub of the house, and with its glazed frontage, overlooks Loch Ness. It has a vaulted ceiling, chandelier, double staircase and a full size snooker table. French doors open onto decking, extending the room to the outside when weather permits.
The first floor gallery overlooks the snooker hall, and also benefits from the glazed frontage, vaulted ceiling, chandelier and double staircase. It has been designed as a sitting area to maximise the views over Loch Ness, and has proved to be the perfect place in which to sit with a glass of wine before dinner, and watch the sun go down – or perhaps practice some yoga!?
French doors open onto a first floor balcony, extending the room to the outside when weather permits.
There is bedroom accommodation for up to 12 adults in 3 double and 3 twin bedrooms all of which have en-suite bathrooms.
In addition to the en-suites there is a large family bathroom with WC, shower and bath, and a separate WC on the ground floor
£400pp or £695 to share a double or twin room
