I first looked at this photo yesterday and judged myself. The first thing I saw was the size of my thighs.
What I should have seen; the snow around me, at the top of Cadair Idris in Wales, my wonderful boyfriend behind the camera and most importantly – the smile on my face – weren’t the key points for me.
It was a brief lapse in judgement, I had a quick word with myself then apologised to my boyfriend who had asked if he could post it on Facebook because he loved it for my smile and he was proud of me for making it up there.
Those thighs got me up to that summit, never mind back down again, bad knee and all… and for that I love them – exactly as they are!
