It’s glorious day today! I’ve cleaned my bedroom (I live in a 200 year old house with a lady called Amy and her family) and put fresh sheets on my bed and tied back the curtains so I can watch the world go by my window while I write.
I love these days, this time for myself. It’s so very peaceful. I live in an old (working) fishing village so it’s all go from around 4am with everyone going about their business, which works for me as I’m an early riser and I love the sights and sounds here, and the hearty ‘good morning’ from the joggers and the cyclists and the small business owners as I wander down the high street every day.
A Rossi’s ice cream truck just pulled up next to the house so I’m off for an ice cream!
